Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Hello, Step-Takers!
Thank you for deciding NOT to sit in the boat, but to take your knowledge of FAITH a few steps further. You have not let knowledge be your destination but a stepping stone; a stepping stone of action.
James wrote, “Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.” You have experienced the HOLY GOD, but you did not let it rest there. You put it into action. And because you have moved, the Kingdom of God is growing. sometimes that growth is hidden and not seen. But you have not let that stop you. You have kept your commitments, used your knowledge and kept stepping forward. And the Kingdom of God has continued to grow. Beware of the times when you forget and go back to your “pre-Jesus” days. DON’T beat yourself up but remember that you took the steps. Faith is not about success or failure, but it is a journey. Keep traveling. Remember, But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.” (Matthew 14:27).
As you know, Pastor Paul, Morgan and DeAnna are in Haiti, taking their own steps. Pray for Joey who will be delivering the sermon this Sunday. Pastor Paul reviewed the series with him before he left for Haiti.
Sometimes the attendance will drop off if Pastor Paul is known not to be speaking. Pray that this does not happen. Pray that the Holy Spirit will speak through Joey just as strongly as He speaks through Pastor Paul.
Pray for the people that heard last week’s message and have tried to step out BUT have remembered their “pre-Jesus” days. Pray that you will help someone to take that step this Sunday. Pray for all the aspects of the service this Sunday. Don’t forget to pray for Pastor Paul, Morgan and DeAnna and what God is doing in their lives, especially in Pastor Paul’s life as our Pastor.
Thank you for your devotion. Take courage.
