Paul is gifted with a unique communication style and creative vision that give him the ability to present the Gospel to both the believer and to the skeptic. He desires the Word of God to come alive to the God-doubter, God-seeker, and God-lover, and to do that, he often uses examples from media, art, pop culture, history, and science. Paul's style is honest, relevant, abstract, at times gritty, and profoundly practical.
His vision for Crosstowne, and the Church as a whole, is to return to God in a real and authentic way, living out the Learner, Lover, and Leader mission.
Paul was born and raised in the Boston area and moved to Charleston in 1983. He may have had the North in his veins when he moved here, but after marrying his beautiful Southern belle, Susan, he "southernized" quite well. He and Susan have been married for over 30 years, and they have three daughters, three son-in-laws, and four grandchildren (another on the way!).
Paul is passionate about Jesus, Sci-Fi, technology, the New England Patriots, cars, talking theology over coffee, fishing, and quality time with his family.
