Crosstowne Youth FAQs
Questions about Wednesday night service?
What is it?
Crosstowne Youth is a new environment within Crosstowne Student Ministry! This space is for our students to have another fun, high-energy, welcoming, and safe environment outside of our current Sunday environments. Students are welcome to come and learn about Jesus, invite their friends, and discover the God-given potential inside of them! We exist to equip students to find their God-given potential as they become learners, lovers and leaders in their relationship with Jesus and the world around them. This additional environment aims to accomplish that mission!
Who can come?
Crosstowne Youth is for students in 6th-12th grade! Each Wednesday night, (excluding Encounter Nights) our Middle and High School students are invited to come have fun, develop a relationship with Jesus, and find their God-given potential as they learn through scripture each week.
What time is it?
Crosstowne Youth is from 7-8:30pm every Wednesday night (excluding Encounter nights which is the first Wednesday of the month where all of Crosstowne Church joins for a night of worship. Students are encouraged to still come to this!) On Youth nights, students are recommended and encouraged to come as early as 6:30pm for check-in and pre-service games and fun, but doors open for service beginning at 7pm. We ask parents to pick students up at 8:30pm.
What does the night look like?
Wednesday nights are something special! This is a night where we can be unified together as a youth family! Every week there will be pre-service music and games outside, like basketball, gaga ball, video games and more! Then we’ll move into the youth room for a fun game, corporate worship, gospel-centered teaching, and group time broken up by High School and Middle School.
Breaking up into groups allows some time for students to be able to discuss relevant topics in relation to the message. This promotes discipleship and age-appropriate discussions to further our students’ walk with Christ!

What should I bring?
Yourself just as you are and maybe a friend or two! At Crosstowne Youth, this night is for you to come as you are and have a chance to engage with Christ through worship and a gospel-centered message. Bringing a Bible and a notebook can also help you stay connected and engaged as you dive deeper into what God has for you.
Is there a dress code?
We simply ask that students - and leaders- dress modestly in a God honoring way. At Crosstowne Youth, we respect everyone and the place by not wearing overly short, tight, or revealing clothing. This also includes crude or profane language or offensive language in words or images. If a student is in violation of the dress code, they may be asked to contact a parent for a change of clothes or new clothes may be provided.
I'm a parent, can I be involved?
Of course, and it is encouraged! As a parent, you have a great opportunity to get engaged in the life of your student. All of our environments within CSM can be learned about on our website, HERE. You can also follow us on instagram to see what's going on, follow our announcements, and any changes happening! If you have any questions or concerns you can reach out to our Student Pastor, Jake at jake@crosstownechurch.com. You can also sign up to be a part of our parent email list for updates and info about the ministry!
